I pre-ordered on June 6th and received my founder’s edition on November 19th. I’ve never gotten a code of any kind. I called today and the CSR told me that they were sending out activation codes in the order they received pre-orders. I explained to him that wasn’t true. I knew of people who ordered months after me and already got their codes. The CSR gentleman apologized but didn’t have any resolution. He said he would send me email with a service ticket number and I should send another message to support if I don’t get the code in a couple of days or within the week...I don’t understand why we can make an order through our google account, but google needs to send a code to activate Stadia?
That's the system they've chosen to stage or control access I guess. I've seen advice that you should get the code in 3-5 business days and to contact support again if you still haven't received the code by Friday.
