To Stadia Devs,
Please add actual support for the Playstation 5 (PS5) Dualsense controller, wherein the buttons are mapped correctly. The controller has been out for some time now; I assume that it's being worked on, so maybe a status update would be possible? Let us know where this stands. If it's not being worked on, please expedite its inclusion to supported controllers.
Thank you!
Hey @sooper_gamer12
That is def a highly requested feature, something I'd love to have now that I have two PS5 controllers. The best way to raise the priority of the request is to leave the Stadia development team through the feedback feature. If you open Stadia, then click on your avatar, you'll then be able to click the feedback option.
Hope this helps!
Hello everyone,
We are so grateful to have y'all here in our forums. Since we don't have any news at this time for any new controller support and since this is an old topic, we are going to go ahead and close it. If anyone has any other questions or concerns, please feel free to create a new post.
Thank you,
James

Oh, I did. I'm hoping as folks get their hands on PS5s and/or pick up PS5 controllers (with expected ownership), that more Stadia gamers will use the Feedback mechanism and make some noise. We need to expedite this development. The PS5 controller is one of the best controllers on the market right now. It's a shame that its implementation has been so poor.
And considering the uptake of next-gen gaming systems, it doesn't serve Stadia any good to have fallen behind in providing compatibility and a good user experience. For example, I do not plan on renewing my Stadia account, if the issue hasn't been resolved in the next three months. The user experience is that bad.
It helps if you acquire a 8bitdo USB adapter. I currently have the adapter connected to an usbc hub that feeds the chromecast with google tv.
The adapter correctly maps all Dualsense buttons but there is no haptic feedback ofcourse.
I am also waiting for Dualsense support just to get rid of the hub but for now that's the only way.
