Play trials on Chromecast or Google TV

I want to try as many games as possible and would like to do so on my Chromecast Ultra and/or my Google TV. However, I can only seem to access the trials via my chromebook tablet and my PC. Is there a way to play the trials casted onto one of my big screens without hooking one up as a PC monitor?

@TheMonkeyBoy you can start the trial from your Chromebook/PC through Chrome web browser, then resume playing on TV through Chromecast Google TV.

Keep in mind once you start the trial, the time will keep running even if though you close the game, so make sure you do it when you have time for the full, if not most, duration of the trial.

Are you using the same account both on Chrome and TV?

I've got exactly the same issue.

Stadia needs to make playing trial games on the TV much easier.  There needs to be a specific section or menu option.

I suspect Stadia is loosing money because of it. Obviously the reason for the trials is to get people invested/hooked on a game so they will pay the full purchase price. The gaming experience on a laptop (for most people) is no-where as good as playing a game on a huge 4K TV, so games on the laptop may not be quite so compelling.

Stadia is really missing a trick here.

I mean, all the hassle Stadia must have had confronting publishers, convincing them to release a trial, and them setting it up......just to forget to add an option to the Chromecast TV version......must surely be a face-palm "DOH!" moment !!
