Parental permissions and game sharing

Jump to Best Response

Hi guys,

Quick question about family sharing,

I set my wife up on it rather easy, I am setting up my son on it and he's on the younger side, so everything is permissions here there, which is exactly how I prefer it. One thing I setup is for him to get the rated E for everyone games only, however there is some games example Embr to name one, that is E10+ but I would like him to have access to. Is this something that can be done on an individual game?

ESRB ratings are great but as parent there or some individual instances where I feel different about weather I would let my children play or not.

Sort of.

Up the rating they're allowed and they'll be able to see more games. They still have to request parental permission to 'unlock' each game the first time they try to play it.

Thanx, I was hoping there was a better way to individually accept a single game with out showing games I don't want for him to even see, but I guess this is the best way to get it done currently. Thank you for your help.

There is. Turn off the 'share all' feature, then share only the games you want him to see.
