PUBG EXCLUSIVE SKINS NOT VISIBLE TO OTHERS

Can someone on here tell me why these skins are not visible to other platforms? I feel like we've been duped into thinking we were getting something cool. What's the point in having them at all if the user is the only one that can see them? Oh and other Stadia players, but on ps4 and xbox we can see each others exclusive skins. This makes no sense and I'm about to cancel my **bleep** and go back to playing PS4.

This is rather interesting. What does it show then if it hides the Stadia gear? Default clothing? @AlphaGoon

The skins appear to others as the basic default clothing and gear. Also the red and white hoodie appears as the pinkish one with tie dye on the front. I was playing duos with my son and he said he thought to himself "why is my dad wearing that lame hoodie? He hates that hoodie." So he mentioned it to me in the pre game lobby and I had my laptop in the living room where he was playing  and that's how we discovered this nonsense. Not even my red parachute with the Stadia S rendered on his screen. Those skins are a sham.
