Ordered 6th of june, yet to recieve a code.

Hello. I ordered 6th of june and i've yet to get a code to play nor has the product been shipped. According to this comment https://www.reddit.com/r/Stadia/comments/dvv3tv/hi_reddit_andrey_from_the_stadia_team_here_and_im/f7... You said that they get shipped in the order that they were purchased. Yet we've seen multiple post from discord and reddit that people who have bought in september have already received their items. Why ?

Hi Founders,

I can confirm that if you pre-ordered the Stadia Founder’s Edition, and your form of payment has been charged, your access code has been sent to you via email. Pre-orders for Premiere Edition will start shipping on Monday.

If you're a Founder, have received your shipment, but have not received your code, please reach out to the Stadia support team , and they'll be more than happy to work with you on your code delivery. Thanks!

We are sittin' at a solid 21.5 hours of having my device but no code.

Ordered June 7th. All my names are taken at this point. Thanks Google.

Heavily contemplating canceling. This is terrible and all pre-order promises have been broken.

I ordered day 1, my unit is out for delivery today, probably get it mid-afternoon, no sign of any code though. My number 1 reason for pre-ordering was to get my nametag, not because it is the end of the world, but because otherwise I would have just waited for the initial launch madness to finish, and grab a unit further down the line IF they looked decent. Taking the gamble to be day #1 only had one real advantage, which was the nametag. So probably not going to get the nametag, combined with updated 1080p/4k, combined with medium graphics settings, is making this launch a very large disappointment.

Yes a Very Large Disappointment I am also one who has the kit in hand and cant play almost for 24hours and climbing.. @GraceFromGoogle any updates on getting our codes so we can get our nametags pronto ???

Same disappointment here. Ordered day 1 right at announcement and could not get any of the 17 names I wanted in my list. Then I see tons of people from June 8th/June 10th that got their codes minutes after the 12:00 EST time frame. I was really hyped for Stadia and still might play it but man...the name was the reason I backed Stadia all these months and kept telling my friends that all the bad news and press about it can be ignored but now I am starting to feed into it since nothing seems to be going right. :disappointed_face: Hope others get their codes in the next 24-48 hours and can at least enjoy the games because the whole display name FIFO just straight up didn't happen and is a shame.

I definitely won't be buying any games on this platform. I'll play Destiny 2 but not going to invest any further monies... Will cancel after the three months. This is sad and the fact that there is no transparency is even sadder.

Any suggestions how to best to enjoy it without an invite code?

I get that you don't know how the service will cope so you are drip feeding invites out but at least own up to it!!

Another that ordered on 6/6 and no code.  My top name was taken I saw late last night (Sigh).  The only reason I preordered (Like most of you) was to have first or near first choice of a name.  As a founder, I was supposed to get the name and get game day one, and on day two I still don't have the code even though it's shipped.

I have always been a huge supporter and fan of all things Google but this is a disaster.

Same page here, only preordered to be able to choose my name....this is a mess. I still havent received anything yet but my order should already arrive. I thought this wasnt a "box"

What upsets me most is that Google has been SILENT on this issue. They keep tweeting that the code will be sent out when the order ships, but CLEARLY that is not the case as so many of us have received a shipping confirmation and no code. As 24 hours from the launch creeps up, I would really like to receive some kind of compensation or at least an update??? Is that so much to ask??? We bought into this poorly thought out product for a reason, and that reason is no longer valid because no one could even play on the launch, and people couldn't even get their names. By the time I get my code and product I am so sure stadia will already be dead.

The communication has been utterly dreadful. They are running through the list of things you absolutely must not do in customer relations. Just happily ticking them off, one by one. I struggle to understand the comms approach. Even a tiny company would have taken advice on how to launch a product or at least read a book on the subject. The way Google has handled this momentous omnishambles is just extraordinary. Is transparency such an alien concept to Google that they won't even consider it here?

This is an incredibly disappointing start.

Can we have some information about what is happening please, @GraceFromGoogle ? We know you're working on it, but you have a lot of people that paid money for things that you've failed to deliver. A bit of transparency would be nice.

Placed my order on June 10th and still don't have invite code.  My Founder's Edition is out for delivery.  I will say this is frustrating. Trying to stay positive, but it is getting difficult.

Same thing here as many others :(. I've received my Stadia this morning, but still didn't receive a code. This is so disappointing.. Very sad to see this, since I was defending the Stadia @ work that it'll do great despite the mixed reviews on the internet. Problem is that this situation only strengthen their opinion after reading the mixed reviews :disappointed_face:

9 of my friends, including me ordered Stadia. 4 on the 6th right after the keynote. The other 5 placed orders at least a month or more out. Guess who got their codes first. Not the 4 that ordered right after the keynote. Very frustrating. This has been a very rough launch. On another note, why aren't they including the gaming claw with the founders edition. I just found out on Monday, watching a few review videos that's it's not included in the box and it'll be on the store for $14.99 (still not available). Hopefully this will get better and Google won't abandon this project like it's done in the past with so many other products.

Oh my god. I just contacted Google Support, they said I'd get my code 3 to 5 days from when i received the founders edition.

I assume he meant when it got sent. But that's still totally unacceptable!

Has Google really resorted to just ignore everything after all the dishonest messaging they have sent? 

 

@GraceFromGoogle Do we really have no ETA when a company that owns one of the biggest email brands in the world will send out the emails for the keys to their service that premiered yesterday?!

What the hell is this bush-league performance?

I got an email from Google! it was to tell me that I have received my Stadia Founders package, which I am aware of as it has been on my sofa for 4 hours. 

What I don't have is an invite code, so I can now add "trolling founders by giving them brief false hope" to the list of things Google has done wrong in the last 2 days.

steveb thats exactly what happened to me had my stadia nearly 4 hours and get a email stating i had received my stadia.

@CrimsonRockin it's just cruelty at this point. It's really hard to overstate how badly they've handled this whole thing.
