Ordered 6th of june, yet to recieve a code.

Hello. I ordered 6th of june and i've yet to get a code to play nor has the product been shipped. According to this comment https://www.reddit.com/r/Stadia/comments/dvv3tv/hi_reddit_andrey_from_the_stadia_team_here_and_im/f7... You said that they get shipped in the order that they were purchased. Yet we've seen multiple post from discord and reddit that people who have bought in september have already received their items. Why ?

Hi Founders,

I can confirm that if you pre-ordered the Stadia Founder’s Edition, and your form of payment has been charged, your access code has been sent to you via email. Pre-orders for Premiere Edition will start shipping on Monday.

If you're a Founder, have received your shipment, but have not received your code, please reach out to the Stadia support team , and they'll be more than happy to work with you on your code delivery. Thanks!

Received the controller at 10:30 am it's 10:50 pm and I still have no code. Great job Google.

I ordered mine on June 7th, got my equipment this morning at 10:30 am.
still no code.

it's almost 11 pm.

It's now almost 10 pm MT and I still don't have my code... The whole point of purchasing early was for my gamer tag.... How many hundreds (thousands?) of people have gotten access before all of us that ordered on the 6th?? Totally not cool Google!

I preordered on June 6 and they haven't shipped the controllers or sent me a code yet. I paid for day one access.

Same here, ordered at Jun 6. I am okay it is arriving at Nov 26, which is one day later before I leave for vocation, but there is no activation code at launch date.........

 

 

So disappointed.

I'm on the same boat as you @Ginger555 got the controller delivered, still can't use it or even the platform.

@GraceFromGoogle At this point (24Hrs delay) I'm really thinking to drop my stadia expectation and just goes with alternatives, it's been almost 12hrs since your latest statement.

Didn't Google prepared for a War Room launch team?

I mean, even if that would imply to craft a python code that read for founders orders in CSV format, generate a code and e-mail it to the attached address that would literally took me 10 mins.

Adding that you can't told us that it is because of the way mailing systems works as I'm sure pretty much 90% of the Founders are actually GMail users and so the mails don't even goes out of your infrastructure.

Your store reservation and orders management system is just broken, admit it, move on, push the manual method for once instead of just trying to patch the whole platform.

For gosh, your priority right now is your customers onboarding, not to fix/patch the reservation system on the store or the mailing system.

I mean C'mon, I still get a Nexus phone on the store orders, that is supposed to wait for delivery since 2013 but yet I used it for years and is now resting within one of my drawer.

That start to be insane at that point.

Looks like we have up to 15 days to return the product after receiving it..... so thats always an option.

Who ever planned to bind the code hand-over to the hardware shipment status, did not study the selling points of Google Stadia. You can start playing in your Chrome Browser right away without buying additional hardware, nice!

So why should I not receive a code to unlock my Stadia account without ironically being forced to wait for some hardware shipment?! Are you serious?

Promises were broken, I neither have hardware or the code and noticed that it's impossible to cancel my order.  I'd have been happy with the code and waited for the hardware.  Why can't I cancel an order that's not out of "Ordered" status?

Good point @flint ....

I went back through my credit card from my order 7th June 2019 all the way to 20th November 2019 when it was delivered.

I have not been billed ... I have a Stadia Founders Edition + A White Stadia Controller (2 Boxes) both have arrived but no Code ...

But I have not paid for any of it yet , Can you check if you have actually paid ?

that it for me too @Ginger555 I didn't yet have been debited yet. That's actually what lead me to this assumption.

I really think the whole store payment/order/delivery system is completely **bleep**ed up, they know it and works to fix that **bleep**, however that's not the way you handle such on-boarding nightmare.

I'm astonished that Google can't handle such a small soft launch correctly, they have procedures for almost every situation regarding any other services such as GCP etc.

I would be interested and glad to get a post-launch post-mortem and in-deep explanatory of the situation, what conducted to such a mess and how they plan to fix that.

@GraceFromGoogle Is that something planned at least? Information? Following? well... support ^^

I wont return mine as I don't care to be first on the platform at that point, but for sure I'll be vigilant on promises delivery and won't blindly support the product like that.

TBH: I will not return as it's supposed to be there in a couple of hours.

Still keep reading that they promise once your package ships you will received a code but yet mine shipped yesterday morning and yet still no code. I don't really care about the hardware but would sure like a code to get in and try it out on chrome so it's ready to go when my FE shows up :(.

I wish I was in your boat, I was charged (not authorization held) on Sunday in the early hours.  I still have yet to receive a shipping code or my code email.
