I agree with so much of what he's said, very honest review of the product in its current state.
Nothing but truth bombs in that video. I don't disagree with anything he's said.

It's another "gamer that thinks the mass market cares about exclusives" episode.
Exclusives are important (not third party exclusives like epic does) but first party exclusives is what Nintendo and Sony do so well, so I think the majority cares about it since if you go outside of a STADIA forum or a STADIA reddit sub it's what everyone is asking.
@SecretCode
They're really not though, top 10 selling games on PS4 include two different FIFA games, two different COD games, two Rockstar games. It's arguable how much of the four top selling exclusive games are legitimate sales as being bundled in with a console still counts as a game sale, regardless if the person actually wants or even plays it.
PS4 launched with no real worthwhile AAA exclusives yet was outselling Xbox One 2:1 from the get go.
Nintendo is an exception, not the rule.
But when you make your choice to buy SONY or NINTENDO or XBOX you're thinking of the exclusives you can play, the main draw is do you want to play GOD OF WAR or the lost of us more then you want to play Halo or Gears, I've never met a person who buys a specific console for a third party game that is accessible on both systems it's usually the draw of the games you can't play or where your friends play the most.
I agree with you PS4 launch was killzone/Knack weren't must have titles
and I think Xbox one had Killer Instinct/Forza
but then you have to think those games were not really around and everyone wants to experience the next gen console and next gen games
Stadia is a pepperoni pizza with extra pepporoni on it, there is nothing there that we already haven't tried yet.
and yes I know third party games sell like crazy but it's the first party games that get people into the brand.
I'll be patient though I think whatever JADE RAYMOND is working on will be fantastic, the thing I'm most curious about are the studios they haven't announced, I'm craving a first party RPG.
Most people don't care about exclusives, this is why GTAV is the most sold PS4 game and Bloordborne is about to get knocked out of the top 100. Most people buy the newest tech based on brand recognition and what their friends have.
Am I in the minority here? I haven't been part of console gaming for the last few years as I traded in a PS4 for a switch because of the exclusives and Nintendo's original franchises.
I am happy with the selection of games available on Stadia but can see why people would be annoyed if they've had Xbox and then Xbox One and bought all the latest AAA titles. For me however it's more long term opportunities to never need to buy another console but get up to 4K gaming at a fraction of the cost of a new console setup. I'm really excited to see where it goes, it's not perfect now but all new consoles take time before the true power is unleashed and developers get to grips with the hardware and work out clever tricks to improve performance and push the boundaries. Just look at the difference between first gen and second gen games on the current batch of consoles for examples.
Exciting times, glad I'm helping contribute towards the next big thing.
