*OG THREAD DELETED* A (Concerned) Letter to the Stadia Team

NOTE: The original thread was deleted without notice. I am reposting again for visibility and taking screenshots for evidence. You guys can't just delete threads without reason. Address the information below.

To the Stadia Team, @GraceFromGoogle  , and any other related parties,

It is by now no secret that a huge infrastructural blunder has taken place and only worsens every hour that passes without an official update or statement. This is regarding alleged claims that orders & codes would be shipped in order of purchase date, prioritizing those who made the first initial purchases and commitment to be one of Stadia's first pioneers. As multiple threads and screenshots have shown, this simply has not been the case.

 

There are plenty of examples of users who have purchased their Stadia bundle way beyond the 6th of June and have already either received shipment notifications, gotten their codes, or even gotten their controller before any of the June 6th crowd.

 

I sit here today as one of these individuals. I've yet to receive a shipment notification. I've yet to receive an activation code. It is now November 19th, closing in on 7PM Mountain Time and the promise that was made to me, as well as hundreds of other Founders, has been broken.

 

On behalf of myself and all other Founders in my situation, I would like to request you all to take ownership of the situation and provide full transparency. We would like to know why this happened, where it all went wrong, what is being done to remedy this huge issue, and most importantly, when are we going to get to play what was promised to us and what we paid for. I feel like its the least you can do in a situation where you've wronged your dedicated supporters in a sea of skeptics. Thank you.

Hey fellow Founder! Though I empathize with your frustrations, you do not speak on behalf of me. At this point, does it matter why "the code" has not been received or sent? Or rather, if you were to receive your code in the next 5 minutes, would this concern really still matter to you? Sometimes you have to wait a little longer for things you want, and that shouldn't cause need to start flexing your megabyte muscles at the folks working hard to bring you one step closer to **bleep** fine cloud gaming. However, I'm assuming you take this care and attention to all forms of latency presented so I look forward to reading your letter(s) addressed to local DMVs, airport TSA queues, cinemas showing Star Wars on opening night, or your hairdresser. "I made an appointment at 11, and I don't care that you guys are off schedule by 10 minutes!... Now I'm going to sit down here and let you cut my hair." And also, the central premise of your frustrations itemized in paragraph 2 of your message have already been addressed by google reps today and found in various sources (i.e. twitter, reddit, etc.).

I concur with you OP. I pre-ordered literally as the Connect was ending and my hardware hasn’t even been shipped yet. No code on top of that. But Google was very quick in taking my money last Friday.
