@Goodsir They did advise us not to do any other streaming activity for best performance. I'm not too familiar with the world of streaming, but is it possible to use something else other than OBS to stream? It would great if you can pinpoint the root cause.
But this is what we got from one of the emails:
For the best performance, don’t stream movies or music to other devices in other parts of the house while playing games on Stadia. It can slow things down.
I know they only mentioned movies and music, but I'm assuming streaming game is similar.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScyPate1HLo&feature=youtu.be yeah i did this recording on OBS it didn't look to hot, I hope there is another solution so the quality is much better via desktop PC gameplay...I feel STADIA should do this as tons of content creators will probably try to use the browser experience.
@Goodsir Just wanted to let you know that I also use OBS, and I don't know if its my connection, but I was hard wired and I was running it through the Chrome browser and I didn't have any game latency while playing. Though, if you watch the first part of my video, you will see that I get some latency at the beginning, but it clears up after 5 minutes of streaming.
I have streamed two nights in a row, and my experience with OBS and playiing GRID via Stadia have been REALLY good.
Check out the video here. https://mixer.com/JaimeSalas?vod=235992928
Though, you may want to look at your OBS settings and tweak them a bit.
maybe you could share your obs settings
normally i have no issues streaming but i found i had issues just using the recording locally too
