I have three new X-box series X controllers, and one gamesir G4s controller they worked fine until two weeks ago.
After that the simultaneous press of the D-pad and any other clickable button don't work.
It's not a game specific problem. And it only occurs in the android application, both in TV and phone. BUT works fine in Google Chrome, both in PC and phone.
I already did the usual data clear and uninstall stuff. And I already contacted with google support.
For example:
In Mortal Kombat when I press D-pad down and then pressing any button, the character don't do the crouch kick or crouch hit, just simply stand up and do a normal kick. It is the same with every direction.
To me, it seems the app forgets that i am just holding down the DOWN button as soon as i press another button and only detects it again when i stop pressing the down button and press it again.
It Works fine is I use the analog triggers instead of the D-pads.
I also identified the bug in SteamWord Dig 2. You can't dig down with the D-pad. Only with the analog stick.
Anyone hase the same problem? Or anyone can test it for me?
Hey @fekete123
Sorry to hear about all the issues with those controllers. The reason why they are acting wonky is because they are both unsupported devices according to Stadia's support page. I've had the same issue with my Xbox Series X controller where sometimes it works fine and then other times certain buttons don't work. If you have an Xbox One X controller (one that doesn't have the new middle button) it should work perfectly fine. Here is a list of the officially supported controllers:
To use Stadia on Chromecast Ultra, you need a Stadia Controller. On Google TV or Android TV, you can use a Stadia Controller or a compatible Bluetooth controller. If you don't have a controller, you can play on your computer with a mouse and keyboard, or on a compatible mobile device with the touch gamepad.
You can pair a DualShock®4 Controller or Xbox One® Controller to your device using Bluetooth. Check how devices connect to Stadia in the following table:
| Gamepad type | Google TV or Android TV | On TV with Chromecast Ultra | On Google Chrome (version 77 or greater) | Supported phones with Android 10.0 or greater | iPhones and iPads |

Yes I know that they unsupported. Hopefully they will.
Buying 3 new controller is nearly the price of a new console. It would be a better idea to buy an X-box series X. And I don't want to buy an older X-box one controller for stadia.
Maybe I would buy a stadia controller, but it isn't available in Hungary.
So I just continue reporting it from time to time, until a new patch will solve the problem.
