What!?
What digital, no, what game still comes with instructions. The games should onboard you. But that is no different than anywhere else.
Not trying to sound contrite, but I am unsure if this is a serious question or not.
Again, I am not saying anything negative about you. It does kinda sound like it when I reread my response. No games I have purchased in years have had instructions. The games should be designed to onboard you and teach you to play. Destiny is a muddy mess to jump into. Confusing as all heck.
But it kinda, alittle, makes sense once you get over the hurdle. Try and join some fire teams. Many people are happy to teach new players how to manage the game. It's a lot!
No offense taken. That my expectation too, that the games should have onboarding built in. Neither of these games did, which I assume is a flaw in the game design. Although in the case of Destiny it comes with several add-ons so I thought maybe it was bypassing the original story.
@kgrr Like @LordVivec said... when you start Destiny, it FEELS like it just dropped you in the middle of the game, but as you start moving is when you actually figure out that that whole part is a tutorial. Many games do give you a heads up that you're starting off in a tutorial, and Destiny isn't one of them. So yes, that part can be confusing.
Some games like Samurai Showdown which is a different type of game play than Destiny 2, will have screen options for practice mode and things like that. Another heads up for you... If you try Samurai Showdown practice mode, you have to actually go into the settings and set the CPU player to fight back, lol! I thought that was crazy that it didn't fight back by default!! I thought it was broken! So yeah, they can be tricky, but it can also be fun figuring this stuff out if you give it a chance.
@kgrr @If you are interested, you would be welcome to join our Discord. It is set up for a Destiny clan but Stadia and game talk are welcomed. Let me know and I can post you the link

@kgrr The whole beginning of Destiny 2 is a tutorial, lol. You get games and you play them. Some have tutorials to start, some don't. Most of them have options where you can view the controller actions, but games don't come with instructions. Worst case, people do exactly what you did... they go and find game play video and watch it.Part of gaming is learning the games and getting better at it.
@kgrr Digital game don't come with instruction however I played Destiny 2 about 2 years ago and in this version the direction is super unclear I agree. I would remain patient I am sure it clarify after a playing for a will.
With that said it's the first time this append to me since Vanilla Wow.
