Newer games more demanding on your connection?

My broadband is ok but not great, it does run stadia well though with games such as assassin's creed, metro, red dead. With some big games coming out such as cyberpunk which are presumably more demanding, will this effect the performance experience? Or does the nature of stadia mean that this is no longer relevant and that if your stadia experience is good for one game it should be good for anything?

I wonder similarly on TV, I'm running a fairly old TV with it currently, if i upgraded TV which supported higher resolution would I potentially have a poorer experience?

The device you're on shouldn't affect your experience.

Regardless of which game you're playing, new or old, it shouldn't be more tasking on your connection. I think you'll be fine.

I'm not entirely sure whether Stadia pushes more bitrate while streaming certain games compared to others. I would imagine that it is mostly dependent on how much activity that is going on and whether the scene contains plenty of fast moving and other visual effects. But if you were able to stream titles such as Metro Exodus and AC:O without any issues, then I would imagine pretty much all the upcoming releases including Cyberpunk 2077 should perform smoothly and won't affect the streaming experience. You can always head into the Performance settings and lower resolution if you notice issues or upgrade to a higher tier broadband or FTTH connection. A minimum of 35 Mbps is the specified requirement for 4K (https://support.google.com/stadia/answer/9607891?hl=en), also there should be a way to see at what bitrate the game is streaming I'm not sure how to activate that overlay.

In regards to whether a TV with a higher resolution would affect the streaming experience, the answer is yes depending on how fast your connection is simply because 4K is more taxing than a 1080p stream. You can do a quick speed test at (https://projectstream.google.com/speedtest) to determine the quality of your connection.
