Your description sounds more like you have filters in place to redirect messages than a Google issue.
The codes came in a little weird, mine was in promotions, but lots of people got their code under the spam filter. Have you checked your spam filters?
I've checked and checked. The only thing I can imagine is maybe something weird with my setup. Such as Google account email is hosted by GoDaddy. Maybe it is having trouble delivering to a google account hosted outside ? Or by GoDaddy? Or maybe something special about the original order? It was for my son. I can't see if I used another email address during that order for him. Or that I've got multiple google accounts (for a non-profit I volunteer at). I think my one email address is a recovery address for the other. We've checked spam folders and more and have yet to find any email.
BUT ... I got the original store order and I got the chat session order. Never got emails about the invite codes. Never got emails about the return address / labels and return instructions.
... EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING ... I'm about to do my 3rd / 4th chat session now ... each time the person says it's an automated process and that's all they can do. Then wait 24 hours for the email to arrive. ![]()
I've already started the credit card dispute.
