Need a reason to stay

I don't need to tell you about all the excellent streaming services out there. What is Stadia doing to compete? I've been loyal, but I barely use the service. Not sure if I can justify sticking around much longer.

Hi @JerrySmith

if you want to leave than "leave". You can always come back and your bought games are waiting for you. :slightly_smiling_face:

Stadia ist IMHO the only game streaming service that allows me to play on my Mac, on my large TV and my small phone. Xcloud ist just limited to your phone and Twitch is not launched, yet. :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes, the fact that Chromecast is supported is a major win, but most people have a laptop or computer they could plug into the tv to play that way as well. I own two Chromecast Ultras for the two TV's in my place and I love them. But that doesn't change the fact that xcloud, GeForce Now, and Luna already have larger libraries (Luna will take a bit but you'll have access to all the available games).

I was really excited for Stadia. I was hoping to use it as my main gaming service. But it has so few games that it's really hard to be excited.

Here is my Reddit post I wrote:

Stadia is in a league of its own compared to most of these other streaming services. At the time, I didn't compare XCloud. XCloud wtith gamepass is compelling in a few ways (but, I actually like Stadia Pros subscription model works better - I've claimed 40 games (3-6? more next week) for $49 so far and, unlike gamepass, they will never rotate out, which is good because I haven't finished with them all yet. Also, XCloud's tech is pretty spotty compared to playing on Stadia. I never like to call a cloud streaming service "laggy" because there is a lot of FUD about that. But, if there is one that is, it is XCloud.

I'm with you here. The value is great. Between Pro games and discounts, I've saved $1,500 on the 62 games in my library. And performance is definitely better than xCloud. I've tried to play some games on my Note10+ and it's just not up to Stadia's performance. I have gigabit internet and sit 10 feet from my router, but playing Forza Horizon 4 was not great. Whether that's Wi-Fi or Bluetooth-related, I'm not sure. I think it'll improve as we get further along, but right now Stadia is top of line. Like you said, if the service isn't doing it for someone, they can leave Pro and come back when the games they want are available. Until then, they can still play, for free, any games they've purchased.

Buy it and use it for free.

It's actually a great slogan

There is nothing forcing you to stay only on stadia. It's a free service You can use x cloud or Xbox or PlayStation or Luna or any of the other services as much as you want and stadiawill always be here for you.

I dont understand one argumentation:

Why should anyone come back, after he change the plattform and invest in it?
