My postponed purchasing behaviour as PRO-member

As an PRO-member I am getting a bit more anxious to buy a newly released game... This November PRO-games include Risk of Rain 2, Republique and Sundered, that were already for sale for a few weeks/months. I can imagine it feels like bad luck when you bought one of these games while you could get them for free only a few weeks later... For me that makes me only buy big games like Cyberpunk 2077 or Red Dead Redemption 2 that will never be a PRO-game. Let me call it postponed purchasing behaviour. What do you think? What could be improved? Or is this just the revenue model of Stadia? Will they make enough profit throughout the Stadia PRO-memberships anyway...?

@sulphurtx That's an interesting take. For me, I purchase games where I would like to show the dev/pub support for bringing their game to Stadia. I think it's a great way to show that games from that dev/pub are very sought after on Stadia if there's a lot of purchases.

I can see the fear about a game becoming pro after you've bought it but look at it this way. You paid for early access to that game before everyone else got to play it on Pro!

Yeah, that's also my strategy on Steam, but the offer of games and especially games with very specific genres and good prices is so huge on Steam... And not on Stadia. For instance: I tried the demo of Cake Bash on Steam and thought is was nice, but not worth 20 euro on Stadia when it might become PRO next month...

I will definitely pay for a game that is just released and perfectly matches my preference!

The 3 games that get PRO in November would have cost me 55 euro when I had bought them... A lot of money.... :money_bag:

Maybe Stadia could get a refund option the first hour of gameplay? Just like in the Play Store...

There's already a refund policy. You have 2 hours of gameplay or 2 weeks since the purchase, whichever comes first.

I won't be too much worried if the game will be free in the next month of Stadia Pro, anyway it was something that I want to play. Maybe you should wait months before you will see free.

Yeah, but if I had bought these free games before 1st of November it would have cost me 55 euro....
