My experience with Stadia and Google

Hello, I would like to share my experience so far now which is the worst experience i ever had with any company so far. Bought stadia on 7th December Received the bundle after few days (delivery was late). Excitingly opened the box and setup’ed everything to find out that controller isn’t working properly. So after talking with a rep for more than 3 hours he finally decided to offer me a replacement which i agreed to do as well. After that they sent me email where it has a link to order the replacement (which didnt work) . Tried next day same problem... the link was not working. Headed back to support and they sent me another link which also didn't work and after that they said they have escalated the issue to higher support which will update me after in 24-48 hours. So after 48 hours no email or update from google i decided to talk with support. They tell me now it’s fixed and they will send new email containing a link which will work (guaranteed by the supporter) and guess what it didn't work. After repeating this again for 2-3 times I decided to get refund. Now the refund story: I requested refund on 15/12/19 after talking with them and they said i will receive an email containing information about shipping labels and other stuff. Didn’t received any email. Called support to fund out there is a problem with sending email to me and that this issue has been sent to higher support. I’ll hear back in 24-48 hours. After 48 hours no update again. Called support. They told me i’ll hear back in 48 hours which didn’t happen again. So i called them again yesterday and was chatted with “Travis” - who told me issue has been fixed and i will be receiving the email (shipping labels) in 24 hours. Also told me he will send me a confirmation email that everything is alright now and if i need help i can reply to that email - which i didn't receive again. so today 20/12/19 i called again explaining them i didn’t receive any email. The supporter told me that there was a problem sending me email and they will escalate the issue to higher support i will hear from them back in 24-48 hours. So it’s been more than 13 days now where i haven’t enjoyed a single minute of stadia. I’m frustrated , don't and can’t trust these liars anymore and also don’t know what to do beside waiting and hearing the same bull**bleep** again and again. So this is my experience with company and i’m sure i won’t be using google anymore. Thanks

@qwerty : Unfortunate, sometimes things just don't work out as they should.  But in reality, Google should be doing better on this than you are reporting.  My own experience has been positive from a delivery perspective, but that might just be blind luck.

Thats a shame to hear and i understand you are frustrated!

Why could they not send the link to another email account since it seems to be some issues here?

My experience is very good with stadia customer service, always quick response on the chat, Even got refund on a game that had been played over two hours, because of an issue i had with it.

Also got Nice help to set it up since i had issues with my cromecast.

Hope you will get the help you need soon, send them an email with your story of what you have been trough!

I have told them multiple times to use alternative methods but they always ignore that and tells me to rest assure...

 

In addition, 24hours after i spoke with them yesterday still no update.
