I really like the idea and implementation of Stadia.
What I don't like is that we are treated like console players.
I am not very familiar with the technical background of Stadia, but I am sure that the games are PC ported. Or rather, they are PC versions but with fewer settings. I know Stadia is not responsible for the ports. But they can decide what is approved and what is not.
- I would like to see real graphics settings. I am aware that the graphics settings can negatively affect performance. But I want to be able to decide whether shadows or lights are more important to me.
- We need FOV sliders. Not everyone uses Stadia on a TV 3 meters away. I wish a little love for everyone sitting right in front of their PC.
- Allow not just exporting but also importing saves for single player games. For example, to make switching to Stadia more enjoyable.
For reference, the games i played on stadia so far: Cyberpunk 2077, Risk of Rain 2, Hitman, Sniper Elite 4
Not all Stadia games are PC ports, a number are the console versions.
However, Stadia is a fixed hardware profile, so optimisation for that profile means allowing graphical options is complicated. That's why the options are generally "performance or quality" or "turn off X".
