Hello,
My set up is 2 TVs (separate rooms), 2 Chromecast ultras (wired connection), 2 controllers, same Stadia/Google account, same network.
I'd like to play local multiplayer games on stadia using the set up above, is that possible?
Thanks!
Hello @pmruk
Local multiplay is only possible within the same stream at the moment.
Meaning you are able to play local multiplayer on one Chromecast Ultra with multiple controllers connects.
With one account you are able to stream just one game at the time so if you want to play multiplayer with games it is going to be the online multiplayer right now.
I am afraid the option you want to achieve is not possible as of now.
Please be sure to share you suggestion with the Stadia team by using the Feedback option within the Stadia app or stadia.com. ![]()
Local multiplayer is only supported in games that allow it
