I have been trying to play the first level of the Marvel’s Avengers campaign, “The Light That Failed,” but I have encountered glitches that render it unplayable.
The first glitch (which I captured on video, link below), has my character frozen in place while the rest of the game world is unfrozen.
If this first glitch doesn’t happen, things will eventually get to a point where I have wiped out all the enemies on the Golden Gate Bridge, but there is nothing for me to do to progress any further in the game.
Either way, the nature of these glitches has rendered the campaign unplayable on Stadia.
I should note that I have reached out to Stadia Support (both by chat and phone), and they referred me to Square Enix. I contacted Square Enix, and they referred me initially to a Reddit megathread that already has over 2,000 comments, and later they referred me back to Stadia Support. So they were no help.

@cobrien86 This game is not really in a good spot right now, and unfortunately for these kind of issues, Stadia support won't be able to help. There's supposedly a new patch 1.3.0 that will be rolled out soon that will fix most of the issues, so you will need to wait on that. I'm also playing the game on PS4 and facing a lot different issues. There's really nothing we can do at this point other than wait.
@Ivan You’re probably right, I’m just posting this here in the hopes that the developers might pay attention. In their Reddit megathread, Stadia is being largely ignored, and any users who mention it are getting downvoted.
@cobrien86 I'm also on their sub a lot and I also noticed any mention of Stadia kept getting downvoted and ridiculed. It's a bit discouraging, not going to lie.
From my understanding is that the developer is aware, but they only have limited time and resource to work on fixing the bugs, so they may prioritized the systems with the most users as of now. So my guess would be console - PC - Stadia. I know this may not be the answer you're looking for, but it's just the reality that as of now Stadia userbase currently isn't that great.
I actually ended up getting the game on PS4 since I know I'll be playing this game a lot, and if I get it on Stadia I will go over my monthly 1TB limit (Comcast... sigh). I would've gone for Stadia if I have unlimited bandwidth.
@cobrien86 The patch 1.3.0 has been released, but unfortunately not yet for Stadia.
It does say 'Pending' though so we know they're working on it. Hang tight!
Hehe on the downvotes, now you know why Reddit exists, they are a corporate troll shields for the Goliaths... They should change their name to vacuum or sweepyourdirtundertherug.com
Patch is now live.
