Make stadia a Netflix for games

I know I probably won’t get to the desired audience but I just need to put it out there. I had high hopes for stadia when it was first announced (as everyone did). We though it would be a Netflix for games! Just get a subscription and play all the stadia games without paying a single extra cent. Clearly, our hopes were too high, we didn’t take into account that this is the company that would give false hopes of privacy (at least to people who don’t read the terms and conditions). We thought that this would be a Netflix for gaming. Stadia has let me down. I think you should try the whole Netflix approach, see where it gets ya. Well, there you have it. A suggestion to the game.

Stadia is still pretty young. Let it grow a little bit. Each month there are new games for Pro members. If you want this already but you are not gaming on a TV, have a look at Microsfts xCloud beta with the Game Pass included.

Let's hope that there will be more awesome games in the future

I am not sure where you read that from, but Stadia was never advertised as "a Netflix for games". Perhaps, you had the assumption, and expectation that it would be, but that was never the case.

Stadia is still in its infancy, so I am sure that as it starts producing its own exclusives, and the user-base on the platform increases, we will get there, eventually. But, I believe it is an unrealistic expectations at this point.

Well, yes it wasn’t advertised that way, but it made us think that this could happen, I thought that it would stream games like Netflix streams movies and shows. Now yes, it is pretty young but here’s to hope.

I believe we got so used to Netflix's current model that most of us forgot how Netflix started, and how we you had to buy the movies and shows. I mean, even as of today, Netflix offers some titles you can rent, that are not watchable with a subscription.

Although their model is different, even if we had to compare them, the difference would be that Netflix has a bigger library of shows available with a subscription, than those to buy or rent.

I will agree with you that Stadia has not lived up to all its expectations so far, but this was never one of them.

For me, it would be fantastic, if they would give us some free to play games like COD warzone, Apex etc. as to make it a netflix model, which i think is impossible at the moment.Theres uplay+ coming sometime later this year but other publishers are not in the mood for stuff like that, unfortunately.
