I'm thinking of getting stadia but can't find the answers I'm looking for, I have two Chromecast and going to get the new one with google tv but can't find if it will work with non-ultra casts. the other thing is can you use other controllers over Chromecast like Xbox one or ps4 or even the newer gens. I have the game pass for Xbox/pc and using the uplay+ but I just want to cut monthly/yearly costs. and lastly, I have a newborn too so is it really so quick to be able to play, or do you still have to load the game then update, etc, I have gigabit internet and have a mesh system so the connection is no issue but I do have dated TVs that's why I didn't get the ultras because of no 4k. Please let me know if you know the answers or can help with it thank you in advance.

1) it only works on tv with chromecast ultras for the time being. The chromecast with google tv support is coming next year.
2) you can currently only use the stadia controller on your tv. Other controllers work with laptop, phone, tablet, etc.
3) I have centurylink gig internet and it handles great. I'd say games load quicker than my Xbox one and there are no downloads. You buy and then play immediately

No downloads, no updates just pick up and and play it is so quick and easy. With pro you get your free games (currently around 31) or just pay for the games you want.
Unfortunately you do need the stadia controller and chromecast ultra to play on TV but if you have a laptop or android phone or pc you can still play and use xbox and ps4 controller. (I use Razer Kishi for my Samsung galaxy s10 it works amazingly)
Enjoy your time with stadia
Thanks guys I will get it comes with one ultra so that will do just fine for me and hopefully they will let regular Chromecast work sure not as fast or 4k but still very much appreciated for people who own them already lol should of just got the ultras instead of normal
