Looks like posts mentioning the medium graphics in the title are instantly marked as spam?
C'mon Google give us an answer.
Mh that sounds weird @Gh0st, did you check the Community-Guidelines and also the Google Help Communities Content Policy if the post got deleted/removed because of one mention there? It might be because of an link or.... I have no idea
Could also be that someone flagged your thread and after the review it got removed.
Sometimes the ways are not really comprehensible.
@Chufu As for someone flagging the post, it was practically instant after posting. So I'm pretty sure it is some auto-moderation tool
@Gh0st This is just a theory, but can you maybe try posting it again, but put paragraph breaks in between? Not sure if that matters, since it doesn't seem there's anything violating the rules from your post, but this can be a good test.
@Ivan the original post did have paragraph breaks. They were stripped out when the post was removed.
I also tried posting a second time, also with breaks, and it was instantly removed.
@Gh0st Understood. Not sure what's going on then. Clearly this current post is fine, so it's not like every post you make gets filtered. Well it's still Sunday, so hopefully there's someone from Google that will be able to take a look at it tomorrow. As of now I'm running out of ideas lol.
I had a perfectly legitimate post marked as spam and then deleted also, I assume because I was pointing out a visible way to test the input lag.
It was a constructive criticism in the hopes that Google could fix it, and not a straight forward negative post.
I appealed and it was still deleted, which I assume was a misguided attempt to make things look nice and rosy over here. It kinda worked in the opposite way though as I stopped telling people how good stadia was and instead tell them that it's main feedback method is censored so I suspect it won't improve on future.
The post is below in screenshot form if you'd like to decide if I was too negative..
@Gh0st Sometimes the auto moderation system will mark legit posts as spam, resulting in false positive. It will be hard to understand the reason without actually looking at the content of the post.
Does your post include sensitive information by any chance? Or maybe a lot of hyperlinks? Usually what I do before clicking on the 'Post' button is copy what I wrote and posted it in notepad in case the post doesn't go through.
@Ivan @Chufu the post contained no links, no images, no personal data or anything sensitive. It was purely text about the medium graphic settings.
Here is the content of the post, I apologise for the formatting but it was stripped when the post was declined.
As you can see, it was a perfectly normal post. That was well thought out and not offensive or aggressive, etc.
It doesn't violate the community guidelines either and was meant to start a conversation about the issue and pose a legitimate question for Stadia.
Same here. I think I identified a bug around founder’s usernames and tried to post about it, but it was marked as spam. I was even asked by support to post here to get traction... I guess I’ll just try to get in contact with someone from the Stadia team in private.
