Hi guys, honest question here. Is keeping my Founder`s edition order still worth it?
Ok right now, i`m considering to cancel my founder`s edition as well.
Main Reasons:
It sounds like you aren't comfortable with the service, so I would say no.
If you wanted to reserve a user name you should have received an email with a code yesterday or the day before.
@Lenin thats the problem. didn`t recieve anything yet, as so many FE buyers.
Still curious about that "streaming thing"... but this service doesn`t look like a great deal for me anymore.
Well can`t cancel my order now via gstore... seems i have to send it back, if i do
That's the problem @Lenin, most of us founders haven't received their codes yet, even not all of those who ordered at 6th June 2019. So they should be the first to reserve a name.
@bare totally understand your frustration. If keeping the founder's edition is worth it or not...mh i guess this is up to you. You are maybe still lucky to reserve your name if you get the email soon, and you definetely get the founders badge. If the controller-color is very important to you, it might be worth as well to keep the midblue-founders-controller. The rest is part of Premiere edition too, so this would not make a big difference, although you also get a Buddy Pass as a founder. Guess you have to decide on your own, if it's worth to cancel or to keep it. Definetely agree though that a lot of things with the launch of Stadia went wrong or could have been better.
@bare In general, pre-ordering something always come with some kind of caveats right. When you pre-order something, especially in this day and age, we need to be prepared of receiving something that's fully finished. Usually, it's always a good idea to NOT pre-order and wait for reviews/impressions before deciding to do it.
Personally I will be keeping mine, since my main reason for getting Stadia is so I can sneak some gaming time during work breaks, or whenever I travel for work. This way I don't have to lug around my gaming laptop anymore. That alone is already worth the price of this (not so perfect) launch. I can get by with the current limitations.
From what you wrote above, it seems you already have some general idea of what you're expecting. Nobody can make the decision for you. In the end, you should do whatever makes you satisfied.
