Hi,
I couldnt find something like this topic and I created it.
Basically to share with Stadia devs the game issues we might have. Any game.
1. Game name
2. PC/Mac/Android/Chromcast Ultra
3. Wifi if 5ghz or 2,4ghz
4. Used Browser (if there the case)
5. Problem
6 If it happens with other games
Thank you
So, in my case:
1. Elder Scroll Online
2. The game sometimes is having the image freeze, with lags, if like when one is playing with bad video graphic card. And sometimes very less I can see pixels or blurry
I have good connection, as per google speed tester 248.891Mbps, and it says also that it is excelent for playing Stadia
To better understand the issue, this happens only with Elder Scroll Online or it happens to you with any games?
I didnt check it, but the last time I played the Hitman before starting the Elder Scroll, and with Hitman it was fine, no such a issue.
Hi @HyekARBazooka, thanks for providing that info. Are you on wi-fi for both your PC and Chromecast Ultra?
Hi,
Yes both
Hi again @HyekARBazooka, thanks for providing that context. Is it possible to test your connection with an ethernet cable? My suspicion is that your problem arises from an unstable wireless connection. Stadia's stream quality relies almost entirely on a stable connection first, and a fast connection second. It's much more important to ensure that you are not dropping any packets or experiencing jitter on your wireless network than it is to have a certain speed.
Hi, I just checked it today, and U were right. It seems like having many mbp isbnot enough, and with tye wire it plays way better
Hiya @HyekARBazooka,
If it isn't game specific please share your gaming setup. Are you playing on the Chromecast Ultra, Smartphone, PC or Mac? And are using WiFi 5 GHz of a ethernet cable.
Troubleshooting these kind of things can be tricky but worth your time. ![]()
Hi,
I am using most of the times PC, with Chrome. Also Chromcast Ultra, yes with wifi 5ghz
Sorry for the late reply.
Do you also are experiencing those blurry images on the Chromecast Ultra?
Did you try connecting one of your devices with a ethernet cable if possible?
Could be your WiFi connection isn't that stable somehow?
Sorry for the late answer, Hi, I just checked it today, and U were right. It seems like having many mbp isbnot enough, and with tye wire it plays way better
I have played Risk of Rain a lot few months back on 300mbps ethernet , the only issue is input lag of the mice like when i move the cursor left it either ignores my command or goes a bit more further than i wanna move the cursor to , it's not reliable at all . Looking forward hearing from you , thank you .
Hi @r3volt97,
Did you try using a Chrome incognito window to see if this helps?
Are you having these latency issues with other games as well?
On every browser , everything lagging .
Update for the above , i haven't got issues playing with an xbox controller at all , i have noticed the pointer ( mice ) issue is the same in every game no matter what . Tried every browser tho
