Issue with friends list

Hi

i was wondering if anyone has ever noticed issues with the friends list on the chromecast, it will show say for example i have 13 friends playing on the chromecast but then when i check my friends on the app on my phone it shows i have 21 friends playing.

when I’m playing borderlands 3 it will also show 21 friends online in the menus but when i check on the chromecast, i have friends missing who should be showing as online???

I played on my Chromecast yesterday for the first time in a week or two and found I had several pending friends requests that didn't come through on the phone app. So yeah, kind of seems like there's some weird inconsistency there.

If you notice it again, be sure to use the Send Feedback option in the app to report it to the team so that the developers can check into it.

I actually experienced this the other day. The workaround seems to be to add them to a party on your phone or desktop and then invite them to your game or join their game from the party interface on the CCU.

It's not a pretty workaround but it works.
