there are a few games on stadia that i personally think would benefit a great deal from these features and it seems like a missed opportunity when they aren't added.
Are the features discussed much or put in front of developers so they are aware of them and know how they work?
Does it take much coding as a general rule (i assume it would differ based on the game) to add it after a game is released?
Most recent example is Death Run TV which launched today. Has audience participation for twitch streams. Fantastic opportunity for Crowd choice. yet, nothing. Unfortunate.
All multiplayer games would benefit from Crowd Play. That much is obvious. Would be fantastic to see these great features being added by developers to more games.
@Pedder It's definitely up to the publisher to add the feature, and it's hard to say whether it's easy or difficult. As someone that works in the software industry, I can say that adding a feature to a software isn't exactly a simple matter. The implementation may be simple, but most likely there are several steps of approval that needs to be done before it's being implemented. Best thing we can do right now is to express the interest to the developers. More interest means more likely they'll consider to implement it.
