Dear All, do you know if Stadia planing in the future to allow Stadia players play each together with non-streaming PC players? Let's suppose that Cyberpunk 2077 will get new online-mode - if I play on Stadia can I play together with Steam players, GOG players from PC? I don't need console players (like XBOX/PS/etc.) but if Stadia use PC's on servers it should connect all PC players together. Do you know anything about this future plans?
Hello @Czapla
"Cross play" is supported by Stadia, but whether it is available in any particular game depends on how that game was implemented by the developer. Some Stadia games support this today (e.g., Division 2), and I've heard that more will support it in the future. The advantage is a larger multiplayer base, of course. But, the disadvantage is exposure to PC players that may be hacking their games.
