For some this can be lengthy. Other perhaps not so much. I am curious to see when everyone started gaming and their progression that eventually lead them to Stadia :).
As for me:
My first Console: Atari 2600
First Game: Frogger
Replaced By : Both a Sega Master System and an NES
First Game on NES: Duck Hunt - Went straight for the gun
First Game on Sega Masters: Rambo, I think?.
Sold both for a Sega Genesis
First Game on Genesis: Altered Beast Obviously ![]()
Purchased a used Turbo Grafx 16 and a new Super Nintendo at the same time.
First Turbo Grafx Game: Bonk's Adventure
First Super Nintendo Game: Final Fight
Traded off my Turbo Grafx and Genesis for a CD-I
First CD-I Game: I don't remember, it sucked so bad.
Traded CD-I and 600$ for a NeoGeo with 5 games.
First NeoGeo Game: Metal Slug
NeoGeo got stolen
Traded SNES and Cash for a brand new 3DO ( Friggin loved this console)
First 3DO Game: ROAD RASH!
Trade for an Atari Jaguar: Worst Decision Ever
First Game on Atari Jaguar : Tempest.... it's only good game.
Purchased PlayStation:
First Playstation Game: Kileak the DNA Imperative
(About this time I was really REALLY into PC gaming but didn't own one yet)
Purchased a Nintendo 64
First Nintendo 64 Game: Mario 64
Sold the rest of my consoles
Purchased a used computer - 486 SX with Windows 95.
Played the HECK out of X-Wing, Command and Conquer, WarCraft, Day of the tentacle, Monkey Island, Kings quest and the list just goes on. That C&C and WarCraft music though. The power it had on me.
Upgraded my PC rig in 1998
Bought my first MMORPG - Ultima Online
The...rest...is...history.
I believe I bought an xbox but used it as a computer monitor stand.
I didn't own a console after that until I bought a nintendo switch for my son.
Sounds like you're from the same generation as me, but your memory is far better. I started on the C64, SNES, PS1, PC, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Stadia. Don't really play PC games anymore, apart from Football Manager. Mostly Xbox now, but enjoying Stadia since release, hoping for years of success.
