Hello, I wonder if there is any possibility from the technical side that online games that award various penalties for disconnecting during the game (FIFA21, etc.) have implemented a system for checking the technical problem of connecting to the Internet. I mean a very poor connection that could disconnect the player, of course I understand that there would be a lot of ways to sabotage such connections. From the other perspective, it could be possible for players to return to the game, e.g. 15 minutes to fix problems and return to the game, and the player on the other side could wait for the person. I understand that it depends more on the game manufacturer than Google Stadia but it should also be considered by Google as a cloud gaming system.
Hi @Czapla
I never see any type of penalties for network issue on Stadia. I know that some games have some kind of penalties (on Destiny 2) if you are lagging, but I never experience something like that with the game or other games on Stadia on multiplayer sessions.
Fifa 21 already show message that you will get less coins because you disconnected during the match
