I've been playing through Immortal Fenyx Rising DLCs for the past few weeks. The past two days I've been trying to play the Lost gods expansion and it will freeze up completely. I can't even get off the first island without this happening. I have to exit Stadia wait 15 minutes for the session to time out to go try again. If you go back in before the session times out the game usually just takes you to a black screen.
I use my Chromecast with GoogleTV and a Stadia controller. I've played over 100 hours in other titles without issue.
In my area Stadia plays perfectly and I hope to see things grow.

@CreekFreak have you tried playing from other devices (computer/phone)? I know you mentioned that it doesn't happen with other games, but have you tried playing other games lately and confirm that you didn't get the same issue? Just want to eliminate the possibility that th issue is not with the device, internet connectivity, or the game itself. It could be that the data center hosting Fenyx Rising is currently experiencing some issue.
I don't have the game unfortunately so can't test, but hoping anyone else with the game can confirm if they're getting the same issue as yours.
Make sure to send feedback to the Stadia team from the app when you receive the issue. That way the team can track when the issue is happening and what's causing the issue.
I have the game and expansion. I am testing it out now. I'll let you and @CreekFreak know the results asap.

Hi @CreekFreak I was able to start a brand new save and made it off the first island by finding the olives and making an offering at the alter. The bridge rose and I was able to walk across it with no issues. @CreekFreak in this case I'm guessing the data center you're connecting to for playing the game is experiencing some issues. Maybe you can try again in a few hours or in the next day or so and see if the problem persists? I actually forgot to ask, when did you notice the issue start happening?
I also think it's still worth trying to play the game in other devices / network and see if you're still getting the same issue.
@Ivan @4ScarrsGaming I just wanted to reply and tell you both thanks for the suggestions, testing and help on the matter! It finally worked correctly this morning and I was able to continue the expansion.

It just worked this morning when I tried. Same everything hardware wise as before.
