I would love actual hard release dates on stadia. I don't understand why we don't have them. I just want to know when to set a couple bucks to the side to grab Madden, Cyberpunk, etc. Why is this so much to ask? Why can't we know a hard date instead of just "Q4?" I've been a stadia user since day 1. I pre-ordered in August of LY. I've had no complaints on the service. But this is getting incredibly frustrating.
@Dinn I believe the release dates are actually driven by the game developers/publishers. Stadia may not want to commit to a date which they have no control over.
That feels like a bogus reason, no offense. I understand a lot of things are developer side issues when it comes to stadia. IE servers going down, prices, etc. But release dates have been a commonplace thing in gaming for over 25 years. You're telling me Stadia can't get on board with that? Why? I just want some actual, reasonable answers. If they aren't going to launch games on the same day as other consoles (also completely rediculous) then they need to have a different firm date. I get that they want to be extra friendly with developers so that they can get the content needed for this "project" to get more active users but this seems like a huge annoyance and oversight.
@Dinn I'm saying that it may not be Stadia's place to announce a publisher's anticipated release date before said publisher has done so.
im pretty sure this pandemic aint helping matters at this time, they probably got a lot of dumb little things going on..
