An app with an API on the Takeout backend that we can use to access Stadia content very simply, such as our Screenshots, and Videos, Acheivements, etc in game, instead of going into Takeout and the long process? Just a simple app that opens shows the games with content and allows us to simply create posts to social platforms with the screenies and some small modifications?
Hi @DrCentz! Thanks for compiling this feedback for us. The best way to get your ideas in front of the Stadia team is to submit this as feedback within the Stadia app. To find this, open the Stadia app on your mobile device, then tap your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen. From there, navigate to the "Feedback" button below. Make sure to be as descriptive as possible. Thanks again for being a fan!
@DrCentz Personally I'd rather just see them focus on making that content easier to get at in the Stadia app. Why bother with a convoluted back-end workaround when you could just have an easy way to export content straight from your browser or mobile app?
Either way, be sure to use the in-app feedback option to let the devs know this is something you want to see.
because adding to the main app adds a lot of bloat for something no one might use. to open an app.. select game... tweet pic... on a seprate app... with some captions etc... that connects into google take out and easily seen that way.... seems to efficient to me....
@DrCentz It wouldn't need to add much bloat - just hook in to the OS's existing Share mechanism, as just about every other app is able to do. And then the developers would still only have a single application to maintain rather than forking off a special-purpose project.
yeah, but we have the clips there, and see how useless it is.. they have theyre hands full, someone could code this in a few hours, a simple, category/game/heirarchy... and the clips go in... each game gets a UNIQUEID to call it... usename.. walaa, pictures are there... i dont see why the clip system we have now is so limited other than they have no care for it right now
@DrCentz I understand what you're saying maybe
if there was an easier way to store the data like Sony has a factory Studio inside of the PS4 just to name one examp
where you can upload your saved gameplay footage screenshots and edited maybe if stadia dot.
the direct play is awesome but what if there was a way we could also stream or directly download the footage Clips Etc so that we would be able to edit them and redistribute them later.. I have a team I would love to live stream and send my edits or live feed straight to the workroom like an old school radio station something to look into
that type of companion app would be awesome
yeah, i was a fan of that studio app for the few times i played on console

I think i seen some api that was not available back in the day for takeout.
I believe I can actually do this via a website, (i have web dev experience, but im not an app dev)
Ill take a look over the weekend. If I am able to access the content, and per game ID, this should be an afternoon project.
