High packet loss, occuring within google network

I play Stadia from Germany.

I have had a packet loss of around 2-3% for a few weeks now, which is practically unplayable.
I have a 100mbit VDSL connection via Ethernet to my laptop, where I play with Chrome.

I've already tried many solutions (almost everything from stadiahelpcenter.com) and even more. My ISP also said the problem is with Google. I think that's true, because when I track the server IP to which Stadia connects me (e.g. 136.114.97.235) using PingPlotter, I can clearly see that the packet loss only occurs in the Googles network:

My ISP transfers the packets from Hop 4 to Hop 5 to Google Network via the Berlin Peering Point (BCIX). The packet loss only occurs afterwards with the hops, which are all Google server IPs. I also think there are a lot of hops within Google's network before I end up with the actual Stadia streaming server, could this be a routing problem within google?!
Does anyone have any idea what else I can do? Is it possible to write a support ticket to Google on this matter?

Oddly enough, the packet loss is usually less at night (starting at around midnight), probably because then the network traffic is decreasing at night in Googles network?!

mh as you mentioned you've tried already everything available on the Stadia helpcentre, I would recommend to get in touch with the Stadia support to figure out if they have any further TS steps for you or if it might be a bug occuring there.

You can also let the developers know by submitting feedback (tap your profile in the top right corner on stadia.google.com or in the Stadia app and select "feedback").

I am having the same issue right now, the packet loss is insane (about 3000 packets in 3 minutes of playing). This makes the game stutter and unplayable. I ran PingPlotter and saw the packet loss occurring within Google, the same as here. When I contact support they don't really understand and just try to get me to run Chrome in Incognito mode or make sure JavaScript is enabled... we really need a better outage map based on data center or something to verify if the issue is on Google's end or not.

Same issues here - Germany / Hamburg. Just contacted my ISP Vodafone via their support forum. You can follow me here: https://forum.vodafone.de/t5/St%C3%B6rungsmeldungen-Internet-TV/Abends-schlechte-Verbindung-Ruckler-...

A bit frustrating. No problems to be seen, neither on the side of Google nor Vodafone.

Update from the last weeks:

between around 18 and 23:00 it was almost impossible to play due to high packet loss (>5%). At other daytimes it was fine.

My ISP said the problem is with google and google said kind of the same thing about the ISP.

Strangely today i wanted to check out playing at around 21:00 at it was perfect. Only 50 packets lost in 2 hours (0,0002%), latency was around 24ms (normaly i got around 30-40). Gaming was smooth as hell :slightly_smiling_face:

I wonder what happend, lets hope and cross fingers that it stays this way.
