With PC's and every console now supporting ray-tracing, I was wondering if anyone from Google has stated (or even hinted) about when they might start supporting this on Stadia? Obviously, if Stadia is going to stick around, it can't just stay stuck in last-gen console hardware. So is there at least some kind of roadmap on when we can expect this? Or have they been asked about this in interviews and did they give any kind of response?
Haven't heard anything official yet from Google about ray-tracing, but I agree, would be nice to hear about if that's planned or not.
Guess for the moment, if you want to make them aware of it, best would be to submit feedback to the developers to make sure your voice is heard (just tap on your profile in the top right corner in the Stadia app or on stadia.google.com and select "feedback").
Hope we're hearing something soon about it!
They've remained pretty vague on this. Every time they get a direct question they answer it with a very politician response (Basically "no, but we don't want to admit that.")
400 games and they're focused on 2022 but no mention of FPS or next gen lol
I'd rather they focus on quality games first. Then go after the higher graphics and power. Cloud gaming means you have to stream that data which means more strain on your internet
Good news on that front, the API that Stadia uses in their servers has officially announced ray tracing support.

Ray tracing is over_hyped. No difference for me on my pc with or without Ray tracing turned on. However, I doubt because ESO is capped at 30fps which is terrible.
