Guide: Play Stadia on an iPad, right now

For those like me wanting to experience Stadia on an iPad before the iOS app actually works, here's how you do it...

(Note: it's a bit of a hack, but works for those interested & have the necessary gear)

Prerequisites:

- A device w/ MacOS Catalina installed
- An iPad capable of Sidecar
- Sidecar set up w/ Air display

Steps:

- Open Chrome, hit https://stadia.com
- Open Chrome options (far right toolbar menu, 3 vertical dots) > "Install Stadia"
-- This makes "stadia.com" a dedicated Chrome app you can launch like a typical MacOS app
- Open Stadia.app
- Drag the app window over to your iPad display
- Connect a USB-C cable from the device running MacOS to the Stadia controller
-- note: it wasn't working for me directly connected it to the iPad, but others may have more luck - also, I haven't tried bluetooth connecting an Xbox or PS4 controller, but that will prob also work
- Start a game (it should go full screen at this point)
- On the game splash screen, use the Stadia controller to proceed (Press A, whatever)
- Enjoy all of the electric air

I’ve used moonlight to stream my desktop from my pc to iPad then used the chrome browser on my pc to stream games and connect the DualShock 4 Bluetooth to the iPad.
