Google, release family share, messaging, and YouTube streaming.

Do not get me wrong, the games are great. Quality of life changes with features included in the heading have to be released. Current streaming environment is going to be aggressively compared to each other. I want stadia to stay ahead of the game, in my opinion it is currently out performing the other streaming services. Advertising is improving, which is awesome. Google! Slam those other guys out of the park! Be more aggressive. Thanks

I completely agree with you. I found these three days of Good Stuff to be meh! Not because the games weren't good, but because, they are just games, all gaming platforms have and release games and being someone who keeps watch of what is in the library, with the Ubisoft anouncement last week, it was clear Stadia would hit the 120 games by year end 2020 target that was set. So games, while great, are meh because I already trust Stadia to deliver the games!

What would have been somewhat better was perhaps having a deep dive with CDPR on Cyberpunk on Stadia just like happened with Immortals Fenyx Rising, talking about next gen. Tell me what is so special about this game on Stadia vs PC or console.

I am a founder still with my pro account, but I have a high end desktop capable of 4K@40fps+ at ultra settings, I am thinking of picking up a PS5 for the VR. Tell me why I should buy games on Stadia. Yes, I can game on any device but, I could also subscribe to Shadow and get that for my PC games. Even tell me that once lockdown is over and I can travel again, I will be able to play in say Brazil at sompoint because Stadia hardware/network engineers are working to expand the reach and get better optimisations on the compression technology, etc.  Sell me a vision of what to expect with Stadia that just is not possible anytime soon on other platforms.

Google thinks "We're as big as Microsoft. We don't need to talk about upcoming features, because we are big. Instead, let's do the opposite like al big corps do: silence everyone and wait till true announcement." Just look at the AMA they did here with Founders. Lol we are here since Day 1 and they STILL won't talk to us. We are nothing special, we were just dumb enough to put money in this the first. (Big fan here btw, just to make a statement). If Stadia was a true start-up, they did not survive this. Why because Founders/Early Adopters, simply expect to be held in the loop a little bit. That's what all these kickstarters etc are doing. Why won't Stadia? Because Google won't let them.

Marketing-wise: Everyone is telling the team what they wanna hear: new countries, big names, new features. But Google stays 100% silent about this stuff. Just games and not even big games (although Indie's are great, don't get me wrong here. But big games = marketing)
PR-wise: They are not actively contacting news publisher- or social media fires like last night (CET here). Instead, they let it run.

Let's be honest here: a big corp like Google has the same issue as a game developer. There was a dev on Reddit who said it all has to do with budget. PC and consoles come first. When there is some budget left they might create the game for Stadia as well. It's a money game. The bigger the platform, the more interesting it gets.
Now spin that to Google. They offer all different kinds of services (Workspaces, Android Store, Youtube, Ads, Analytics, etc.) The bigger the service, the more interesting it gets. Stadia is not that big of a deal for Google yet in terms of marketing. There are bigger fish to catch. I think.

I always imagine the top of Google sitting together for their weekly meeting:
"Google Top Dude: Good morning guys, let's talk numbers!"

"Google Ads person: last week there was a 15% growth over the previous week. We are gonna push this and that to keep it up!"

"Google Analytics person: we sent out the e-mail about Google Analytics 4 replacing UA and the current respons is looking good. People are already switching".

"Google Workspaces person: Last week 1980 new businesses were welcomed to our suite of work-apps. That a 20% growth. We need x-amount of budget extra to push it further."

"Android person: Well, we are still the biggest platform of the world and everyday new devices are getting activated. Our revenue just passed the 10M line!"

"Youtube person: We are finally making profit!"

"Stadia person: We got an exclusive deal with Pac-Man!"

"Everyone: who were you again?"

Just kidding of course, but you get my point: Stadia is a start-up and needs to prove itself to us (gamers), but also to Google itself in terms of numbers. My bet is their marketingbudget is too low right now. Or spend wrongly, that's clear.

Roses are red, Gaming is fun. You are carrying too much, to be able to run!
