Hi today i launched my ghost recon breakpoint and i was if i was playing for the first time. My ancient profile disappeared and the game created a new one for me. What's going on?
Same here - gutted. No warning just gone.
Same happened to me and the three friends I play online with. Our shared progress is gone. This is what non-cloud gamers told me would happen. Please don't let them be right.
My game play is also gone.
I don't want to do all over. They should restore it or take the game back. With all those servers and backups this shouldn't happen
Over 600 hours on 2 different characters. Both with 250 XP and at level 70 and 72. GONE!!!!!!! This could be my last straw if I cant get that progress back. Hopefully this is just isolated to Ghost Recon. I havent checked any of my other games yet.
Been noticing that there are quite few cloud gaming platforms (Stadia Alternatives) coming up. Anyone tried any for comparison?

This is a good example while cloud gaming is not ready yet. I would rather have a copy of my progress on my hdd
You can actually have a copy of your save!

Yeah you can download backup of your data and saves, but you can't manually upload them though...
Probably is just for security reasons as anti cheating
It wouldn't be an issue if Google back up the game saves. You'd think they would be doing that so this wouldn't happen anyway.

Not sure where the fault lies but unless fixed I can see this being the end of me playing Ubisoft games... And in fact anything on Stadia.
Im thinking the same thing bro. Technically, this could be classified as theft maybe. I purchased a product (Breakpoint) or products within that product(in game purchases). Since I could not physically keep these products they were stored on Ubisofts cloud storage correct? They should be held liable for losing our stuff since they were in possession of it. If they do not give us our stuff that we own, then they are stealing it from us. We should be compensated for our time and money is what I think. If this issue was supposedly expedited to a higher tier of support, (why not the highest) you would think something should be known by now yeah? Its been around 48 hours or so.

Sorry everyone, I am upset and I just started playing, maybe 5 hrs lost. I can't imagine losing what some of you have. I would be going insane. And even with my new game I lose my guns everytime I login. Even what I bought from the store and points gone too. This is bad.

There has to hundreds of people, if not more, that have spent (or wasted) hundreds of hours and most likely have spent ( or wasted) money by purchasing the game or buing in game purchases, maybe purchasing ghost coins or something related to this particular game. In other words we gave YOU (Stadia, Ubisoft) our money. Now WE HAVE NOTHING! Im not usually the type that comments or talks crap on a public platform but the more I thought about it today, the more heated I started to become. I decided to add up the time I spent playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint 600 hours ! Thats equivalent to 25 days. I sat and played this game almost an entire month. Some of you have even more time than that even. The amount of money spent I cant really quantify. I guess the main point im trying to get at is WHY THE F*** CANT WE GET AN ANSWER?? Who do i shoot my angry email to? Ubisoft? Stadia? Is Vladamir Putin somehow involved? Do I have to pay a ransom to get my Nomads back? I really feel like I was just ripped off and i'm sure many others do as well. Im also sure that there are many more people that lost their data but havent posted anything about it. If you are one of those or if you know anyone that has lost their game data, encourage them to say something. Either it be here or by contacting the support teams of the companies involved. Remember, its the squeaky wheel that gets the grease. Start squeaking Ghost Leads!!

I contacted Ubisoft about this, they are quick and friendly, but they couldn't help me, the problem seems to be at Stadia.
It seems that Ubisoft could help just if the savegame was in a slot which was not overwritten, not my case

Just another Ghost player chiming in. What the heck Google? No response other than one message over a day ago saying it's been escalated, and the post is marked as "Solved"??? This is nowhere near solved. Are the game saves back up on Googles servers or not?
