Hello Everyone,
I've been playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint for quite a while now, but just encountered this problem. When I play the game either with or without earphones, the sound is either completely mute or really muffled/quiet. I'm playing on Windows 11 from Chrome.
The sound is okay for other games or sources (Youtube, Spotify etc.). I have reinstalled Chrome and blocked all Chrome plugins, but to no effect.
I am desperate, please help me if you can!
Thanks!
Hey Thomas12,
have you already tried playing in Stereo?
@Borussia Hi!
I couldn't find any stereo settings in Stadia or in the game itself, but I tried enabling mono and stereo output in Windows settings - to no effect.
Any other suggestions?
Hey @Thomas12,
I actually really enjoy Ghost Recon Breakpoint! Great game! I played for a bit yesterday myself seeing if I could recreate the issue you are having, however I didn't seem to notice any issues with sound. I know this may seem silly, but have you double checked the in game sound settings? I did notice that there was a reset to default in the settings menu. I know you also mentioned that you've double checked all of your extensions, but have you tried an incognito window or perhaps a different browser just in case? I'm just throwing out some possibilities. Anyways, keep us posted with how things are going when you get a chance.
Best,
James
