My family and I usually stick to local PC multiplayer games (BroForce, Nuclear Throne, Crimsonland, Risk of Rain, Serious Sam series, MK 1 to 4 and stuff like that) and when we did go online we mostly played older PC titles from the 90's/2000's (Quake, Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Xonotic, Star Trek Voyage Elite Force, No One Lives Forever and more games like that).
Our oldest son invited us to Stadia back in April of 2020. From there more of my family and friends joined up. Some more active then others.
The other day when many of us were on we were sharing some of the games we were playing and a lot us found ourselves playing games in genres we would normally not approach. For me I had a great time with the following games listed below:
I found all of these game fascinating especially the LN series. I now find myself looking at more single player games like the ones I played above on the other services that I use. I can not even think of a game prior to Stadia that was single player that I enjoyed and my gaming collection goes back to the late 80's. I'm currently enjoying Submerged: Hidden Depths. Which is a again a game outside of my normal palette.
I stopped gaming with PS3 since I wasn't able to buy a new generation of consoles so with Stadia I had the opportunity to start again!
I did play many games and Stadia PRO help me discover a lot of hidden gems (at least for me)
Also I really liked GetPacked, is a shame that is still almost a beta....
After a long hiatus, I rediscovered Final Fantasy with the XV chapter. It's not that bad like a thought. Having prejudice is so wrong in life.
