I'm not that person for shooters on consoles that's why I would really welcome more (arcadeish) racing games like:
Otherwise oldschool games (in 4k) would be also great
I'd really like to see some of the great Indies that have been released over the past few years.
Super Meat Boy
Firewatch (I know)
These are games made by incredibly small teams, with love and passion and the developers would directly benefit from the Stadia platform, as would gamers, getting to try great games at a reduced price from triple A games.
I have to believe that the commercial agreements would be easier too.
I'd love to see Google strike up a relationship with Shahid Ahmad, he's now a dev, and many sources cite him as being the driving force behind Sonys push towards better relationships with Indies.
Most new games from the major publishers will come to Stadia in the future, I've no doubt about it.
What I really miss is Activision as a publisher! They have not announced anything for Stadia yet.
To name a game though...
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered!!!
I would die to play this on Stadia! The announcememt actually made me rethink to go back to console gaming, even though Stadia works wonderfully well in my environment and I truly like it! Sounds stupid, but I would buy one of the next gen consoles just to play Tony Hawk again!
In my opinion, to have a good choice in the near future Stadia should try to get the following titles:
- GTA 5 with GTAO crossplatform (a little older but worth the effort)
- Diablo 4 (when it comes out)
- Vampire Bloodlines 2 (when it comes out)
- COD: Warzone with the possibility of crossplatform (free for PRO)
- The upcoming Battlefields
- the next COD
- Rainbow Six Siege witth all Seasons. It's Old but it's a most popular Tactic FPS currently still widely supported and with a big community.
Then surely in the future he could try to make the following games arrive on Stadia before on PC (if on PC):
- Final Fantasy 7 Remake
- The Last of US
- Xenoblade Chronicles
I would like to see games that require high end PC to run like Cyberpunk 2077 (which I know is coming). If all these games come to Stadia than I never have to upgrade my PC ever again 🙂
