Hey @Nasdan, I have a similar thing with my games: I am German, but my boyfriend is UK. Therefore we want to play our games in English, but my whole Google account + Stadia is in German.
I figured out though yesterday, that it works when you just change the language of your chromecast in the Google Home App, just do the following:
This worked wonderfully yesterday for me. Our first two games in Mortal Kombat 11 were in German and then I switched to English by changing the Chromecast language.
To change the language for Stadia, I found the solution but for me (based in US), it was slightly different than the previous answer above.
1. Go to Google Home app
2. Select the appropriate "house" (if multiple locations exist for you -- I have locations for work and home)
3. Select the Chromecast Ultra (assuming you're playing on this type of device with your TV)
4. Select the widget icon to access the settings located in top right
5. Scroll down to language and change to the desired language
I had to restart Stadia for it to take effect.
For the game language itself, and not just on Stadia, I had to change the language within the game's options. The default load language will be the default language from your Google account. This worked immediately, at least for Mass Exodus.
As far as I know and can tell it will use whatever language your phone does(or perhpas whatever you have the device you're playing on set to). It would be nice if they added an option in the stadia app though so it only effects stadia.
