So I'm not sure if this is suppose to work or not, but stadia starts up fine on my android mobile phone huawei Y7. On chrome desktop view, stadia.com The stadia app also recognizes my gamepads. But in the game it isn't recognized. Tried both razer raiju mobile gamepad and xbox one gamepad. Tried Wired and bluetooth. Trying the stadia controller tomorrow. Android os fully up to date and all apps aswell. These gamepads works on all else on my mobile. If this is currently not supported by chrome browser on mobile, can I expect it will in the future? Cause the game starts up fine, connection and sound and vision is all good.

Thank you.

I'm gonna assume that the phone model overrides the android version.

Did you find a way to make controller work on android chrome? Controller registers as linked for me in Stadia app, and game can launch no problem on chrome on desktop mode, but the controller does not register there. I tried uninstalling Stadia app to see if it would afterwards but no luck.

Are the buttons working just assigned wrong, like RT acts as start button B is A etc? If so there is a workaround but if you have no input from joysticks or buttons can't help.
