Game prices are off

Is there any reason the pricing is off for ghost recon? $30 in america but yet £30 here in the uk. Yet all other games seem to pretty much work out correctly when converting currencies. How comes UK players are being overcharged for ghostreacon? It should be around the 22.95 mark here before tax. It has been reported in the discussion thred on Facebook that other people in different countries also arnt having a price match across the board. Grid $24 : £22 Just dance $29.99 : £23.99 Boardlands $38.99 : £32.39 Ghost recon $30 : £30

@M3TAL :

Par for the course. Prices rarely correlate 1:1 and there are lots of different factors that can be put forward for the sake of putting them forward. But the usual ones are exchange rates, sales tax differences, offset extra costs e.g. advertising, local support, the CEO’s new Porsche, etc etc.

Not the first time, won’t be the last either.

Kudos appreciated if deserved.

@M3TAL Game prices are set by the developers. They set it to whatever they think best, based on the particular region You win some, you lose some. The pricing for Darksiders was actually cheaper in Canada compared to US.

Steam, Uplay, Origin, Xbox, PSN etc have been localizing prices for years now and I dont disagree with them I mean how else would you be able to set a fair price based on a local market? $30 4300 yen £30 its all the same to the person living in their respective country.
