I am not sure what's going on but in this forum start to see this kind of message:
-----------
according to the Founders Hub Guidelines, this post should go to the main forum
https://community.stadia.com/t5/Stadia-Founders-Hub/Founders-Hub-Guidelines/m-p/32191
-----------
It looks like only Founders comments will count and take in consideration and for this reason you push to post in other forum or channel only accessible for them.
Am I right? This feeling freak me out.
Personally I find the whole “founders” topic a bit bizarre. I get it that some people supported Stadia right from the launch and that Google wants to reward them with a special player logo and all that jazz. However anything else that could fragment or be seen as fragmenting the community is totally wrong. We want to grow as a gaming community together and develop a directional sense of oneness as only in numbers Stadia will succeed and bring to gamers the joy we all want to experience. Other platforms show on your profile a number which tells the number of years you have been a member, to me this is a more logical and embracing way to address this issue. Some may disagree but I always prefer a totally inclusive approach to communities, fragmentation and pretending to be different only bring negativity and division, and to be honest given that Stadia is at a very early embryonic stage (not even 1 year old) we are all pioneers and supporters of this amazing yet to be further developed and established gaming technology. I will shut up now ![]()
And I agree with you.
Community == Inclusion.
And I can reassure you that the Founders hub is no more than a "private lounge" and not a place where decision are made by founders and the general community have to just accept that, as a founder you have no special privilege (other than the nickname without the number and the badge).
I fear more the actual fragmentation caused by several official channels where the community live (Reddit, Discord, this forum) than a single channel where "the founders" can chitchat
As a founder I can also say that I wrote more on general than on Founders hub ![]()
Actually you should not worry because is pretty much the opposite ![]()
There is a sub forum accessible only to the founder, this is true, but if the maintainer of the community see a post that they it's should be of general interest, they move it to the general forum with that message, it means that since the post is talking about something that could impact the whole community they WANT to hear the whole community opinion and not only the Founders!
So, each time you see a message noted with that, it means that the Stadia teams want all the people to be part of the discussion and not only the Founders, probably because is not a Founder only thing!
and what kind of topic are relevant for Founders and not for common users? I am curious ![]()
I see that @GraceFromGoogle and others push to publish some topics to the main forum... this one, no otherwise. Sorry for that.
Well, is mostly a separate group, with no specific topic, is just for connecting founders, but sometime someone talks about some interesting stadia feature and then it get moved on general ![]()

That’s good to hear HatDroid! Yes I also agree that the several official channels can get confusing to connect Stadia members properly. I tend to check all of them often (except Discord as I’m not sure how to use it) but find it hard to know who’s who, who plays what, etc.
Hahaha this service is so doomed, the numbers must be showing the majority that hang about are founders and they got to keep those few hundred people feeling special or nobody will be playing... Nail in the coffin for me and anyone not a founder I advise you to boycott, you don't matter obviously, crazy to segregate people and now of all times FML
Founders have more informed knowledge on the technology, they understand what's going on, and we really don't care about those ignorant that come by and spit out the hatred, cuz we have used the technology, we know it works, we know how much more incredible it is than what you have and its cheaper and getting better.
In the past 2 months we have seen the seeds starting to sprout and know that the future is very bright.
What's further more with Stadia, it is not a choice, it is always there. We are not tied to a jukebox cash machine in our living rooms. In PUBG for example, when the communities of players there on Xbox servers go down.. they all come to Stadia and continue to play. They are use to what they know, but they see Stadia and only don't stay here because its just not common yet... Few more games, few more months, it gobble up the entire world, especially now as 5g rolls out and you can stand in your garage playing your game while your father drinks beer and works on his car and he might not even know your defeating the GOD of Anger on your little phone
@DrCentz2k games are amazing true 2k players know this, we played the games while you bash the little phone crying.... Enjoy your, erm nothing.
no clue what you are talking about, but bye ;D
@DrCentzSeriosly, you enjoy your nothing, you own nothing, you play with nobody, enjoy the void kiddo.
Don't worry @ARGAH, we are enjoying our nothing
please, continue to enjoy whatever you like too
How can you possibly enjoy nothing, wow look at me can play games on the internet, you should get an invisible car too and fuel up at your imaginary petrol station LOL
You guys are the biggest joke of all time, can't believe I got sucked into paying for nothing, good luck.
Listen, I don't want to convince you or even try to have you understand what Stadia is.
But, what do you exactly mean with nothing? I'm serious, I can't understand what you are talking about, games on stadia are no more different than games on other platforms where you buy the right of play, do you use Steam? you know that you are not owning the game but just the right to play on the platform and if steams close you are left with nothing right? the same for Epic, uplay, origins and so on...
So, what do you exactly means with nothing? that I don't have a physical copy that occupy space on my HD? or the fact that if my laptop (that can't normally be used to play games like MK 11 but I can thanks to stadia) broke I can just play on another budget laptop without any issue?
Sure, if Google closes Stadia I will lose my games, but this is a common risk, unless you have bought the physical copy on a store (and it doesn't relay on online DRM because if the servers closes you can't play even games that you own physically )
Today Baldurs gate 3 was out, people started to play that on smartphone, tablet, potato pc, this all thanks to stadia, and you know what? many of them arent pro users, so they just paid the game, even people that doesn't have a computer capable of handling the actual game, and they started to play before people that buyed the game somewhere else (because you know, you need time and hdd space to download 80gb of game).
So, I can understand that you are not happy with Stadia, but please, help me to understand what you mean when you talk about nothing.
didnt even know it existed... just hop on the Stadia discord, might be just linked to that lol
Could you share with the community last AMA Q&A? I heard Founders made some great questions and It could be interesting for the rest of us.
Thanks
Nothing really outstanding,
Basically the main rule was: No Stadia roadmap questions.
The questions varied along some general Stadia fact (how many player has Stadia?) some personal question (we discovered that GraceFromGoogle loves Guacamole)
but Again, no news was undercovered, and no new feature announced, we even asked for some tips about what is about to happen for the anniversary and the reply was "Stay Tuned"
Thanks for the info! and... how many active players have Stadia? ![]()
Actual words from Grace:
"Somewhere between 1 and infinity."
To be honest she also said that they (Chris and Grace) don't know that info!
as I said, no outstanding news ![]()
Well I’m a founder and don’t even have access to that. So don’t worry: the community is being ignored equally as a whole. ![]()
How? ![]()
![]()
let's see what is gonna happen next week but I am not too optimistic. GOOD STUFF IS COMING!! ![]()
I have great expectation about Stadia and since the launch everything went better day by day! even their communications is getting better! cant wait for October 20!
Ignored? I have had nothing but good instant support the 3 times I went looking for help.
Not all founders are in it so not to worry.
