Anyone else having issue with fifa 22 showing wrong player names and any idea how to fix it?

I deleted the Player Profile, readded a new profile (actually the same one I used before), restarted the game and it kicked off from scratch with the FIFA intro video (luv that anyway) and BEST OF ALL also cleared the name issue as well
I have a similar issue, as advice from someone who is really heavily invested in cloud gaming, I think Stadia should do a better job of communicating these issues to us as they happen. Transparency is really key here. This issue has been ongoing for a number of days now and no official communication to users to indicate that its a known issue that is being resolved, that is shady to say the least.

how to fix this name issue? this is stupid. also my controller setting keep changing back to 'classic' mode, instead of saving it in 'alternate' any help?

I have tried to do this but now the game throws an error and the session closes, I have tried repeatedly without success.
Now I can't even play.

Tried to delete the settings and create a new one and did not resolve. Raised a ticket with EA and also did not work.
