@Boson you brought up a good point. Blocking on Stadia means you stop communications from them; and also prevents you from getting invite from them. It doesn't prevent them to join your public party and they won't even know you block them. This is actually in line with other platform's matchmaking system.

I had consulted the manual page you pointed out before I made my post and I am well aware that the problem I describe is an explicit policy decision by Stadia.
I followed your recommendation and submitted feedback to the Stadia team via the Stadia app. Thanks for that suggestion.
