Farming Simulator 22 Unplayable

This has been going on for over a month.

Since the 1.3 update to Farming Simulator 22, the game crashes randomly, for no apparent reason. Yes, full crash. The screen freezes, you can hear the tractor audio playing, but nothing can be done except to exit Stadia and restart. Losing all progress, since the game only saves when you open the menu, even when set to auto-save.

Today, they dropped the 1.4 update, so I thought I'd try it again, and nope...still happens. It remains broken.

They are offering zero acknowledgment of this issue. We paid our money for this game just like everyone else, and it is not playable this way.

This issue is related ONLY to this game, I have over 100 titles, including Farming Simulator 2019, and they all work fine. No issues, no crashing, nothing.

This is the only game that does this.

I have sent support tickets to Giants, got an automated response telling me to reinstall or move files around. Totally unrelated to Stadia. I have posted more than once on their Forums, support and non-support, and still no response.

There has to be something that Stadia can do to get them to either fix this or refund our money. I even bought their DLC believing they would correct this issue. It is completely unacceptable that I paid for a game that will not work.

@Ghostmane I've heard about this issue before from another user, and sorry to hear that the latest update didn't help. It's great that you already sent support ticket to the dev. What I would suggest is to follow up again to them saying that you're playing the game on Stadia and that uninstalling game client is not a possibility. It's probable that their support is not really familiar on how Stadia works.

I also highly suggest sending feedback to the Stadia team through the app. It will give you an option to include a screenshot when sending feedback, and if you can include it when the issue happens, that will help the team.

Hope the issue will be resolved soon!

Oh, I did that. I sent a response saying that wasn't how Stadia works, and that further assistance was needed.

Silence.

I did send feedback to Stadia. Silence.

This has been going on since the end up February. I get silence from both Stadia and Giants.

I mean they already have my money, why should they care right?

@Ghostmane Totally understand the frustration. I think you've done all you can do. Sometimes devs takes time to respond because they have higher priorities to take care of. This issue feels like high priority to me, so hopefully they'll push another update soon.

If you really want to get a refund for the game, you can try to contact Stadia support. I'm assuming you already played more than 2 hours and it's been more than 14 days since you bought the game, but sometimes there can be an exception made if the game has obvious bugs/issues. If you can afford to wait, I'd suggest wait, but just want to let you know there's another option.

I have the same issues and have been in contact with Stadia support, but its pointless. They took your money and now they couldn't give a flying **bleep**.. They got paid and we got screwed..

When you ask for a refund, their response is that you have to contact the game developer and have them admit the issue.. This is just beyond stupid as they at the same time acknowledge in their support that they are aware of the issue but haven't received any response from the developer regarding a fix/update.. 

I really had high hopes for Stadia as a service, but they just keep disappointing.. And with the extremely unsympathetic support that really dont want to help their paying customers, Stadia days are numbered for sure. Im pretty sure Google already have plans to pull the plug of this project so dont be surprised if it shut down within a year or two..

Same here, I have this issue right from the start and opened a few tickets in their system, even providing a video of it. So far no news, even the latest version keeps crashing after an hour or so, which hinders progress in the game.
