So I have a pro account and a google family established. I invited my son to join the family, so he can use family sharing in stadia. He joined the Google family and crated a stadia account, but he can not skip the pro subscription page.
Another member of my family can use family sharing without having to sign up with stadia pro. So my question is: How can he become a stadia user without having to create a pro account.
Thx!
Hello @Cattalk,
Great to see you are using the family option!
To create a Stadia account and pass by the Pro subscription the best thing you can do is play one of the free games with that account.

https://stadia.google.com/games/super-bomberman-r-online
If you start one of these games with your son's account you should be ready to go!

Already dropped a kudos here, but sure wish I'd found this sooner - as a warning to anyone else in this situation it seems that once you step into the Stadia Pro signup, it's impossible to get back out. I went through the "try a free 3 months on us" process but stopped before clicking Finish, because I was baffled at why Google would have this set up this way. Now, no matter what browser I use, incognito modes, different PC, etc - no matter what stadia link I attempt to connect to if I sign in with my son's account, it takes me straight back to the page asking me to click on Finish, with no option to navigate anywhere else. I also tried from an android tablet, but don't have an android TV. I guess my only option is to sign up and then cancel.
So far ... not very impressed, I sure hope the games are handled better than the user signup process.
