Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me. I have the Stadia founders pack which unlocked Destiny 2 (the paid version of the game) and several expansions. When I do family sharing my family members are simply seeing the "free-to-play" version of Destiny 2. Is it possible to Family Share my "paid" version of Destiny 2 with them? Or will they need to pay for their own game again?
Thank you!
@aceith I'm looking at the help page and it says that you will be able to share claimed games. So in theory, you will be able to share the Destiny Collection that you claimed from your Pro membership.
Just curious, can your family see other games that you've purchased and claimed? Any other games that your family members can't see? Just want to make sure the family sharing process has been completed successfully.
Thanks @Ivan . Confirmed sharing IS working. They do see the game and that it is playable/shared. When the game is played however it is the "free-to-play" version of the game, not the Stadia Pro included D2 Collection.
What do you mean by 'When the game is played however it is the "free-to-play" version of the game'?
Based on what they have to select to play, or based on the content in the game?
Bungie canned most of the content from the expansions included in The Collection when Beyond Light was released.
I own the Shadowkeep + Forsaken expansions (which came with the founder's pack). My family member cannot access this content.
I'm getting same for my family. No content or dlcs.
DLC is shared differently from publisher to publisher, although all games are eligible for sharing. In this case, Bungie doesn't allow sharing dlc.
